On June 13, 2023, ten students from Seisen University’s Department of Global Citizenship Studies made a courtesy call to His Excellency Ambassador Kwacha Chisiza at the Chancery.
The students plan to embark on a study tour to Malawi to learn about the country’s culture, education, and health-care systems.
The ambassador welcomed the students and expressed gratitude for the choice they had made, choosing Malawi out of many countries available as their ground to conduct the study. Furthermore, he appraised that the tour would not only deepen their knowledge about Malawi for career purposes, but also for the betterment of Japan-Malawi relations. He therefore encouraged them to share their experiences with the Embassy when they returned from Malawi.
Seisen is a catholic liberal arts institution dedicated to training future global leaders, critical thinkers, and compassionate women.
