On 24th April 2023, His Excellency, Ambassador Kwacha Chisiza held a meeting with the Former Japanese Ambassador to Malawi, His Excellency Iwakiri Satoshe and Mr Yasuda Sinya, the Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan. The meeting took place at the Embassy Offices.

Discussions centered on issues of Climate change with emphasis on short and long term resilient programs , high demand of SESAME and relationship building.

Also in attendance was Ms Mercy Belekanyama, Third Secretary.
