On 18th March 2023, the Embassy participated in a Charity Bazaar organized by the Association of Wives
of African Ambassadors in Japan (AWAAJ). The Bazaar was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Angola
in Japan. African countries exhibited and sold African handicrafts and food. Proceeds realized by the Malawi embassy will be donated towards the victims of Cyclone Freddy.
