On 17th May 2023, His Excellency, Ambassador Kwacha Chisiza held a meeting with Mr AKUTSU Kentaro, Senior Director and Mr KAZAMA Yosuke, Assistant Director from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency ( JICA).

Discussions centred on issues of climate change with emphasis on short and long term resilience programmes to enable Malawi effectively manage and recover from natural disasters.

Also in attendance were Mr Gracious Soko, First Secretary Trade, Mrs Matilda Joshua, First Secretary Consular and Ms Mercy Belekanyama, Third Secretary.
